Campsites

Old Pine Campsites:

These campsites are in the area west of Gordon Lodge on the North side of the upper camp road and across the road from the main flagpole, White Pine and Red Pine Shelters.  Each camp site has a fire pit and picnic tables.  Water is available at Gordon Lodge (outside tap).  3 Kybos are available among these sites and additional facilities are at White Pine and Red Pine Shelters.

Site 1: Situated between Brule Trail and Gordon Lodge

Site 2: Situated on plateau at the northern end of Brule Trail

Site 3: Situated between Brule Trail and Champlain Trail close to the camp road

Site 4: Situated at the end of Champlain Trail

Site 5: Situated between Cartier Trail and Champlain Trail close to the Camp Road

Site 6: Situated at the end of Cartier Trail

Site 7: Situated between the Gilwell Campfire Circle and Cartier Trail along the Camp Road

New Pines Camp Sites: Sites 11-17:

A newer plantation of Red Pines was established at Goodyear sometime in the 1960’s so as you can imagine these trees are now of a considerable size.  The area is toward the eastern side of the upper level on the south side of the Camp Road.  Access is through the East Gate (after check in with the Warden situated at the West/Main Gate.  Parking is available in the North East Parking lot on the north side of the Camp Road.  Each site has a fire pit and picnic tables.  Water is available at Gordon Lodge by arrangement with the Warden.  Kybo facilities are on the Camp Road and also at 2 points on the road connecting these sites.

Site 13: Situated east of Cabot Trail

Site 14: Situated west of Cabot Trail

Site 15: Situated west of Cabot Trail

Site 16: Situated east of Cabot Trail

Site 17: Situated east of Cabot Trail

 

Cree Site:

Cree is situated in a small clearing just west of the Red Pine/White Pine playing field.
There are picnic tables, a fire pit and space to accommodate 25 persons.  Water is available at Gordon lodge or by arrangement with the Warden.
